We hope that our website can be your first stop for information and Volunteer Centre services across Tynedale. Whether you are interested in volunteering yourself, or are part of an organisation wishing to attract volunteers, we are here to help you get started.

Volunteering

If you would like to volunteer, or would like to find out a bit more about the possibilities, we are here to make the first steps easier.
There are plenty of community groups and volunteer-involving organisations in the area (or further afield) which would welcome your help, and we can assist you to think about what would suit you best, and/or we can put you in touch with the right people.
We can be as involved as you like – from giving you contact information and leaving you to do the rest, to contacting organisations on your behalf and setting up initial visits. We’ll even come along with you for the first time if it helps!

We can also help with information about volunteering in general - whether you volunteer already or are just thinking about it.

Organisations

We also offer support to not-for-profit groups and organisations: that could be help with attracting new volunteers, devising ‘volunteer-friendly’ policies & guidelines, building volunteering into funding bids, or volunteer management issues.
